Album EP "This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For" dirilis pada 25 September 2004 di AS. Edisi aslinya hanya dicetak 1.000 eksemplar.
Band ini merilis album debut mereka "Count Your Blessings" pada tahun 2006 yang membuat pendengar terpolarisasi, dan disambut dengan kritikan.
BMTH mulai melepaskan diri dari suara kontroversial mereka dengan "Suicide Season" (2008), yang merupakan titik balik kreatif, kritis dan komersial untuk band. Album ketiga mereka, "There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret", pada tahun 2010, melejitkan mereka ke ketenaran internasional yang lebih besar, menggabungkan pengaruh dari musik klasik, elektronika dan pop.
